DNS - Minecraft Servers
Starting from July 13th, 2025, DNS support has officially been introduced to our Hosting service! It is currently available for free to all Minecraft servers, with the following limitations:
- Up to 2 DNS records, with a temporary burst limit of 3
- Unlimited DNS queries
- Access to all listed domains
- Records created through the "Setup Minecraft Server Subdomain" feature are not editable, but can be deleted and recreated.
- These records are automatically linked to your server.
This allows you to connect to your Minecraft server using a custom domain like
yourserver.gamesrv.top
instead of node.zampto.net:20000
.
How to Set Up a Free DNS Record (Subdomain)
- Go to your server console
- Click on “DNS” from the sidebar
-
Then click the “Setup Minecraft Server Subdomain” button
From there, just choose your subdomain and we will automatically configure the necessary SRV and CNAME records for you.
Please allow up to 10 minutes for the DNS records to propagate after you clicked Create, the popup will close automatically if success.
After you have created your Subdomain DNS record, return to the console, and another address should appear that you can use to access your server!
Then, you can simply copy the subdomain and use it to access your Minecraft server. Ensure your Minecraft server is correctly configured and that the DNS Records propagated in case of issues.
If you experience any issues, feel free to contact our support!
