Node Auto-Select
When you create a server on Zampto.net Hosting, you must select a node: the default is Auto-Select (Priority).
This means that Zampto.net will automatically choose the best node to place your server on based on availability and your Priority settings for auto-select.
Here's how it works:
By default, everyone has this priority order:
- 🟢 Low-Latency
- 🔵 High-Performance-CPU
- 🟣 Calibrated-Performance
So, what happens when you click Auto-Select in the Node field?
Zampto.net will:
-
🔍 Check all nodes with the tag Low-Latency.
- If it finds one with enough space → your server is created there.
- If multiple nodes fit → it picks the one with the least usage.
- If none fit → it moves on.
-
⚡ Then, it checks nodes with the tag High-Performance-CPU using the same logic.
-
🧠 Finally, it tries Calibrated-Performance nodes.
- If none have enough space → an error is shown.
If multiple nodes with the same tag have enough space, the system will pick the least used one!
💡 You can customize your priority order anytime at: 👉 https://hosting.zampto.net/settings/autoselectnode Simply drag and drop the tags!
