Zampto Terms of Service

By accessing the zampto.net website, or any service, network, server, or any other Zampto site (zampto.net), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and the linked Privacy Policy, as well as all applicable laws and regulations, and you agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms or with the privacy policy, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site or any other Zampto service (zampto.net), including but not limited to:

  • Zampto Accounts (accounts.zampto.net)
  • Zampto Hosting (hosting.zampto.net)
  • Zampto Forms (forms.zampto.net and form.zampto.net)
  • Zampto Wallet (wallet.zampto.net)

Or any other service that is accessible from [whatever (subdomain)].zampto.net

1.1 References and terminology

  • zampto.net is equivalent to Zampto (zampto.net)
  • *.zampto.net equals and indicates any sub-domain of zampto.net (Examples: forms.zampto.net, accounts.zampto.net, hosting.zampto.net and files.hosting.zampto.net)

2. Links and Linked websites

zampto.net has not checked (reviewed) all sites that redirect, link or use zampto.net services, networks or websites. Consequently, any link that includes zampto.net does not mean that it is operated, controlled, approved or reviewed by zampto.net. Use of any linked site is at the user's own risk and responsibility.

3. Modifications (Updates)

zampto.net reserves the right to update its terms of service, privacy policy, imprint or anything else such as, (but not limited to): the prices of a service, offers in the free plan, renewal prices for existing plans or anything else at any time, even without notice. By using this site (zampto.net or any *.zampto.net), you agree to be bound by these terms of service, privacy policy and imprint, and you automatically accept any changes made.

4. Prohibited Activities

4.1 The use of proxies and virtual private networks (VPNs) is not permitted.

4.2 The use of our services for cryptocurrency mining is strictly prohibited. Using server resources for mining operations may compromise the stability and performance of the system, and as such, is considered a violation of our terms.

4.3 It is strictly prohibited to use our services for any illegal activity, including but not limited to:

  • DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks
  • Unauthorized access to computer systems or networks
  • Distribution of malware, ransomware, or harmful software
  • Copyright infringement or distribution of pirated content
  • Mining of any kind, including crypto mining
  • Remote DDoS Protection
  • Any services, applications, or systems for proxy, tunneling, or VPN of any kind

Any activity that violates local, national, or international laws, or any of the activities listed above, is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate action on the service(s) or subscription, including suspension or termination of the contract and service.

4.4 Excessive CPU usage is strictly prohibited on our services or servers. Any usage that adversely impacts the performance, stability, or reliability of the shared hosting environment is not allowed. We reserve the right to monitor CPU usage and take appropriate actions, including but not limited to: throttling, suspending, or terminating services, if we determine that your usage exceeds acceptable levels. Users are required to ensure that their use of resources is in line with the specifications of the selected plan. Any violations of these policies may result in service suspension or contract termination without notice.

4.5 We reserve the right to monitor, intervene, and take preventive actions to ensure that the service is used in accordance with our terms of service. Any activity that could damage the integrity of our systems, network or violate the law will be treated with the seriousness.

5. Fair Use

5.1. Although some services may be advertised as “unlimited” or “unmetered,” they are subject to physical hardware and network limitations, as well as our fair use policy; extreme usage deemed abusive may result in a request to remove certain features or, in extreme cases, service termination.

5.2. Fair use is at the discretion of the Zampto administrative team, and you agree to accept any decision made by them. We will only enforce the fair use policy if necessary.

5.3. We reserve the right to refuse to provide a service in the event of abuse of free trial, free tier offers or refunds.

5.4 If we detect any attempt or ongoing abuse, we may, even without evidence or valid reasons, terminate all services, servers, databases, data, and accounts without any prior notice, and we are not responsible for any data loss, downtime or any other kind of loss.

6. Services Stability

6.1 Zampto is committed to minimizing maintenance and downtime of its infrastructure to ensure high service availability.

6.2 Services Performance

In the event of slowdowns on our services, for paying users with active subscriptions, so recurring paid plans, it is possible to request up to 1-6 additional days of service. Such requests will be evaluated by our staff according to the slowdowns experienced on the nodes or servers.

6.3 Bandwidth Guarantee

Zampto does not guarantee any minimum bandwidth inbound and outbound.

7. Hosting

7.1 Zampto offers a generic hosting service available at hosting.zampto.net that includes but is not limited to:

  • Database hosting
    • Server hosting system (by server we mean docker containers that are equipped with dedicated (allocation) ports).

7.2 Server types (The types of services and things that can be hosted on Zampto, officially supported):

  • Minecraft Servers (Java)
  • Python apps or based stuff
  • NodeJS apps or based stuff
  • Discord Bots (Python or NodeJS)
  • Uptime Kuma

7.3 Specific limitations

We cannot guarantee that it is possible to host anything on our hosting, but we do guarantee that it is possible to host Minecraft servers, Uptime Kuma, and that we support Discord Bots, NodeJS and Python via specific server types, but not everything may work properly as they are not per-user dedicated virtual servers (VPS) or physical servers with a dedicated public IP (IPv4 and IPv6) for a each user, but they are docker containers with a shared public IP (IPv4 and if available IPv6) and a dedicated public port (allocation).

7.4 Uptime guarantee

Zampto does not guarantee a minimum uptime for services and nodes. During the creation of a server or database the user can choose the node, each node is a different instance (physical server or VPS), often obtained from different providers, hosted in different locations, regions or countries, consequently Zampto cannot guarantee minimum uptime, as it can vary and be different for each node.

7.5 Automatic server deletion

Users on the free tier of Zampto, are affected by the system of automatic deletion of inactive servers, how does it work and what are the steps?

  1. When it is detected that a server has been inactive for more than 32 days, an alert appears on hosting.zampto.net and a warning email is sent.

    1. If the server is still inactive after 36 days, a second warning email is sent and the alert on hosting.zampto.net is updated.
    2. After 39 days, if the server is still down, the server is deleted, the resources allocated to the server are returned to the user and an email is sent.

    How can this be prevented?

    To prevent it just use your server from the Zampto dashboards, and when you receive an alert, to resolve it just do any action, such as renaming, opening, deleting, uploading any file to the server, and within 5 minutes maximum the alert will disappear.

Note: Users not on the free tier are not affected by this system of auto-deleting inactive servers.

7.6 Data security and availability

It is the user's responsibility to make periodic backups and save them outside Zampto. Zampto is not responsible for malfunctions, bugs or anything else that may cause a loss or corruption of data, downtime and data leakage (theft).

7.7 Multiple Accounts

Creating, accessing, or owning more than one account is strictly prohibited and will result in suspension. This includes, but is not limited to, blocking (user ban/banned) access to hosting.zampto.net for the account in question and any associated accounts, as well as the deletion or suspension of data, blocking access to it, or any other actions involving any content accessible, creatable, deletable, or manageable via hosting.zampto.net. In such cases, Zampto is authorized to take any actions on the data, including its deletion. Zampto is not required to provide or have prior notice or inform the user of these actions and shall not be held liable for any resulting downtime, data loss, or damages. Zampto is not required to provide or have any proof or evidence that an account is a duplicate, that the user owns multiple accounts, or that any other account is associated with the same user before taking any actions as described above.

7.8 User Content Responsibility and Abuse Reporting

Zampto is not responsible for what users host, upload, or distribute through Zampto's services or Zampto-Hosted. Malicious activity can be reported by sending an email to [email protected] including identifying information and relevant details, or by opening a ticket on our Discord server.

7.9 Server Access Sharing and Actions Policy

Users may share access to their servers with other Zampto users. These additional users will have full access to the server, with the exception of the ability to delete the server, share it with others, or modify resources for the specific server. Please note: Any actions performed by the server owner (The user that created the server) or additional users (such as deleting files or the server itself) are the sole responsibility of the involved parties. Zampto cannot be held responsible for any resulting loss or damage.

7.10 Server Deletion Policy

When a server is deleted, all associated data, files, and configurations will be permanently removed. In some cases, this deletion is immediate and irreversible. Zampto is not responsible for any data loss or damage resulting from server deletion and is under no obligation to assist with data recovery or provide information to facilitate recovery.

8. Payments and Invoicing

8.1 Paid Plans (PREMIUM)

It is possible to purchase a paid plan, also referred to as Premium, for Zampto services.

Paid plans (Premium) offer additional benefits. For example, in Zampto Hosting (hosting.zampto.net), they provide the user with a Resources Pool containing the resources listed in the plan, which the user can then use like regular resources.

Products (Services) included in the plan are shown in detail on the page prior to placing an order (hub.zampto.net/order*). Products (services) not listed remain subject to the limitations of the FREE PLAN.

8.2 Upgrades and New Orders for Paid Plans (Premium)

Users can upgrade (from a "Premium" plan they have at the time of doing the upgrade or from the Free Tier plan with a new order) to a higher-tier plan at any time, when allowed by our or/and Tebex system. By performing an upgrade, the user automatically agrees to the following conditions:

  1. No refund is guaranteed for the plan active prior to the upgrade.

  2. Downgrades back to the previous plan are not possible, except to the Free Tier.

  3. A user can have only one active Premium plan at a time.

  4. When an upgrade is performed, the renewal date is reset. Consequently, the previous renewal date is invalid, and no refund is guaranteed.

When placing a new order, users confirm that they understand what they are purchasing. This is especially important for services such as Zampto Hosting (available at hosting.zampto.net) and Zampto Forms (available at forms.zampto.net), which have a Free plan with limitations. The Free plan allows users to understand the functionality and purpose of the services. Please do not place any order until you clearly understand what you are purchasing. In case of doubts, contact a staff member through official channels for clarification.

Plans can be viewed and purchased at hub.zampto.net/plans and/or zampto.net/pricing.

8.3 Expiration of a Paid Plan (Premium)

When a Premium plan expires and is not renewed, Zampto may automatically remove the user’s Premium plan and perform a forced downgrade to the Free Tier six days after the expiration date, even without informing the user in advance. If the user no longer wishes to renew, they are requested to export their data before the expiry date to avoid loss of data or information. .

This means:

  1. Servers created on Zampto Hosting using the resources provided by the Premium Plan Pool will be deleted along with the Pool, resulting in complete data loss.

  2. Tags will be rolled back from “Premium” to “Free.”

All other benefits, creations, and features obtained, created, or used will also be lost. Zampto is not responsible for any damages, issues, accidental deletions, or data loss, including those caused by system errors. It is the user’s responsibility to report any problems through official channels whenever possible.

8.4 Renewals

Users can renew and extend the expiration of their Premium plan at any time. For example, if a user extends their plan by one month (30 days), these days will be added to the current expiration date.

8.5 Cancellation and Manual Downgrade

Users can cancel their plan at any time via hub.zampto.net/cancel and downgrade to a Free plan immediately. In this case, no refund will be issued (except in special circumstances if requested). The procedure described in section 8.3 will apply immediately, without waiting for the six-day period after expiration.

8.6 Payment Methods

*Payments are only valid if made through our official websites (.zampto.net).**

8.7 Service Access After Expiration

When your Premium plan has expired, you will not be able to access all or some services and data until your plan is either renewed or downgraded to the Free Tier.

8.8 Moderation and Compliance

Users with a paid (Premium) plan are not exempt from moderation actions if they violate the Terms of Service (this page). For example, if they use our services for prohibited activities, they are subject to the same sanctions as Free Tier users. This may include losing access to their account, data, and Premium plan, and no refunds will be issued, except in exceptional cases.

8.9 Data Collected During Payments

When you make any type of payment, we may collect your IP address, email, total amount paid, country, payment method, and other essential information.

9. Refund Policy

9.1 Period and conditions

A refund can be requested within 15 days of payment. However, if the purchased service has been used for prohibited purposes (as listed in Section 4), no refund will be issued. Alternatively, only a partial refund, meaning a percentage of the payment, may be granted at the discretion of the staff. Refunds are entirely at the discretion of the staff, and any refund request can be denied, granted fully, or granted only in part, even if it would otherwise be eligible.

9.2 Maximum Refunds

A maximum of 2 refunds can be requested every 30 days.

9.3 Right of withdrawal

When a user makes a payment, they automatically agree to waive and permanently cancel their right of withdrawal and therefore any refund. Consequently, any refund request is at the discretion of the staff, with no guarantee of receiving it.

10. Contacts and Reports

10.1 Reporting

To report abuse, violations, or misuse of one or more Zampto services, you can send an email to [email protected] or [email protected], or open a ticket on our Discord server.

10.2 Examination

Reports are reviewed within a maximum of 30 days, and it is up to the staff to decide whether to take action, if possible.

11. Responsibilities and Guarantees

11.1 Data Responsibility

Zampto provides solutions to ensure the security of users' data. However, Zampto is not responsible for any data loss in the event it occurs.

12. Changes to the Terms of Service

12.1 Modifications

Zampto reserves the right to alter or modify the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or anything else at any time to add, remove, or change clauses, sections, or any other content. However, Zampto is not obligated to notify or inform users of these changes.

13. User Data and Accounts

13.1 Data Retention and Deletion

Zampto retains user data for as long as necessary to provide our services and to fulfill legal, operational, or security obligations. When a user requests the deletion of their account and associated personal data, Zampto will delete or anonymize all identifiable information (data) and may also delete other non-mandatory data including servers, VMs, files on hosting.zampto.net, data on forms.zampto.net and more unless retention is required for the following purposes:

  • To comply with legal or regulatory obligations (e.g., billing, tax records)
  • To protect against fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
  • To maintain the integrity of internal systems, audit and activity logs

Users may request deletion of their account and associated data by sending an email from the same account address (Using the same email address as the Zampto account you want to delete) to [email protected], including the following exact statement (TEXT):

I WANT MY ZAMPTO (zampto.net, accounts.zampto.net, hosting.zampto.net, forms.zampto.net, *.zampto.net) ACCOUNT and DATA DELETED.

Requests are normally processed within 30 days. If you do not receive a response within 16 days, it is likely that your email was not received due to technical issues,, it is your responsibility to contact us again through one of the alternative support channels listed below. Additionally, if Zampto ([email protected]) replies to your request (email) with a confirmation email or requires clarification and you do not respond within 14 days, your request may be considered automatically closed. If no follow-up (response) is received within 30 days from the original request, the deletion request may be discarded and/or closed.**

13.2 Data Security

Zampto develops secure services, systems, and networks, but cannot guarantee their absolute security. Zampto is not responsible in the event that one or more of its databases, websites, services, systems, or servers are breached or hacked, resulting in the exposure or theft of user data. By using Zampto, you accept these risks, and Zampto bears no responsibility for them.

13.3 Account Suspension and Deletion

Zampto reserves the right to suspend, block, or permanently delete any account at any time, with or without notice, and without providing any justification. This may occur for reasons including, but not limited to, violations of our Terms of Service, suspected malicious activity, abuse of services, or security concerns. We may therefore delete, suspend, or block access to an account and its data at any time, without any prior notice, and for any reason, including reasons not listed in the Terms of Service. The decision is at the sole discretion of the staff.

13.4 By using Zampto, you agree that:

  • Zampto is not required to inform you prior to suspending or deleting your account.
    • In the event of account suspension or deletion, access to any associated services or data may be immediately revoked and permanently lost.
    • Zampto is not liable for any consequences, data loss, or damages.
    • If a decision is made to block a Zampto account, but action is not technically possible, access to the account will be blocked, resulting in a permanent suspension.

13.5 Tebex

We partner with Tebex Limited (www.tebex.io), who are the official merchant of digital content produced by us. If you wish to purchase licenses to use digital content we produce, you must do so through Tebex as our licensed reseller and merchant of record. In order to make any such purchase from Tebex, you must agree to their terms, available at https://checkout.tebex.io/terms. If you have any queries about a purchase made through Tebex, including but not limited to refund requests, technical issues or billing enquiries, you should contact Tebex support at https://www.tebex.io/contact/checkout in the first instance.

13.6 Account Access and Recovery Policy

Zampto staff will never provide or grant access to a user account or its data, even in cases of lost account access. Users can recover their accounts independently via backup codes or email verification at accounts.zampto.net.
